This Annual Activity Report is the report from 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2012 covering the entire work carried out by AABRAR during the tenure of one year.
At AABRAR, PWDS, vulnerable and marginalized ones are at the center of everything we plan and do. We live in a time of exciting, eye-opening change and this encourage us to move parallel with our nation and give them a helping hand in the long run to succeed.
The year 2012 has been another period of continuing growth and development for the organization, building on the work of previous years and responding to new challenges in our communities through a wide range of social activities and deep penetration into the community.
In spite of the excellence of our staff, there are times when the office struggles with the workload of our wide range of activities added to the day-to-day running of the organization. This reflects the huge expectations and demands on the office and thus we are fortunate that good co-operation between the staff, the board, and many volunteers helps to maximize our efficiency and output.
Without the invaluable contribution of volunteers and of our extremely committed staff the organization of AABRAR would not have gained the significant achievements detailed in this report, but still new challenges await us.
We know we need to be in certain communities for the long haul. In the coming year, we are going to focus on priorities that are deemed necessary for the eradication of discrimination which is root cause of problems in our communities. This directly speaks into our vision and mission that are on the way to tackle problems associated with all such factors where the challenges our countrymen/Women face are substantial, but the potential is tremendous.
Our goals are ambitious, and we know we need a bigger and stronger AABRAR to make them a reality. AABRAR is on track to being the best-known and most-respected organization in Afghanistan.
We have the vision; now we’ll focus on securing the resources to make it happen.
