Since 1992 AABRAR has been conducting an annual general assembly every year. On 27th August 2015 AABRAR conducted its 24th annual general assembly meeting at AABRAR’s headquarters.

50+ people participated in the event; including representatives of the sub-offices, board members, operational staff, program department, administration, advisors, and others.

The executive director introduced the nominated female board member to the AABRAR staff and after receiving the required votes Ms. Zarlasht Faizi was elected as a board member.

The top management and board member representatives delivered their speeches discussing AABRAR’s history, achievements, and future opportunities. Managers also provided information about activities done during last year and explained their future plans.

At the end of the session, several important points such as the selection of auditors, fundraising strategy, staff development, retention and success, business plans and 2014 and 2015 successes and lessons learned came under discussion.
